Heat treatment: a comprehensive process for improving the internal structure and properties of forgings by heating the forgings to a predetermined temperature, holding them for a certain time, and then cooling them at a predetermined speed. Its purpose is to eliminate internal stress, prevent deformation during mechanical processing, and adjust hardness to make forgings favorable for cutting. After heat treatment, the ingot is air-cooled or water cooled and quenched according to the requirements of the material.
